Vinyl Decals: About These DIE-CUT Decals

These vinyl decals are die-cut, meaning they have no background. If the picture shows a background color, it is only for illustrative purposes. The actual background color will be the color of the surface on which you place the sticker, or it will be clear if you apply it to a window.

Vinyl Decals Come in 3 Pieces: 1. Top layer: a transparent transfer tape that holds the decal or sticker together until it is applied. 2. Middle layer: the actual decal or sticker, sandwiched between the transfer tape and the wax backing. 3. Bottom layer: the wax backing that protects the adhesive until the decal is ready to be applied.

Application Tips: 1. Do not apply the decal on extremely cold or hot surfaces. The ideal temperature range is between 60°F and 90°F. 2. Avoid touching the adhesive backing, as the oils from your skin can prevent the sticker from sticking properly. 3. Before applying the decal, make sure the surface is free of wax or oily products.

Application Instructions: 1. Rub the sticker to ensure the transfer tape is properly adhered. 2. Clean and dry the desired application area. Stickers will adhere best to clean, smooth surfaces. 3. Slowly remove the wax backing, making sure the sticker stays attached to the transparent transfer tape. 4. Carefully position the sticker in the desired area. 5. Rub the sticker from one side to the other to eliminate any air bubbles. 6. Use an object like a credit card to ensure the entire sticker is fully adhered to the surface. 7. Slowly remove the transfer tape, making sure no part of the sticker remains on it. 8. Check for any remaining air bubbles. In most cases, these can be worked to the edge of the sticker, but if not, a pinhole can release the air and make the bubble virtually invisible.
